Day 1: Venice, Baby! 🛬🎒

Just touched down in Venice? Sweet. We’ll grab you from the airport and get you to your hotel stat. Time to chill, toss on some comfy shoes, and vibe out. Venice is about to be your playground.

Day 2: Getting Lost & Loving It 🚶‍♂️🍨

Let’s wander Venice today with a private guide.  We’re talking hidden gems, epic spots, and yes, those cool gondolas. Grab an ice cream and let’s get those Insta-worthy pics. It’s all about diving into the Venice scene.

Day 3: Swinging Clubs in Style 🏌️‍♂️🌊

Time to hit the greens at Golf Club Venezia. Picture this: you, a club, and endless green with killer views. No pressure, just good times and maybe some bragging rights.

About Golf Club Venezia

So, here’s the scoop on Golf Club Venezia: This place is pretty legendary, holding the title as the OG golf club in the area and one of the oldest in Italy. Picture this: way back in 1928, this club kicked off with a bang—an entire week of games and parties thrown by its first 25 members, who were all about that high-class Venetian aristocracy life. By 1930, it was all systems go.

Now, the course itself is something else. We’re talking 18 holes, par 72, stretching over 19,812 feet (6039 meters) for the usual rounds and bumping up to 20,337 feed (6199 meters) when things get serious. It popped up in 1928 and got a major expansion to 18 holes in 1951.

The location? Absolutely killer. It’s wedged between the Adriatic Sea and the Venice Lagoon, giving off some serious links vibes. And then there’s the weather—the bora and sirocco winds that like to crash the party, ramping up the challenge. You’ll need to bring your A-game to tackle those winds and aim for the greens, which, by the way, are pretty cozy with their bunker buddies.

Day 4: Romeo, Juliet & Wine 🍇💑

Off to a full day guided trip to Verona to check out where Romeo and Juliet did their thing. Then, it’s wine o’clock in Valpolicella.

Think tasty wines, chill lunch vibes, and dinner in a vineyard. Life’s good, right?

Day 5: Another Round, Another Adventure ⛳🌤

Back at it at Golf Club “Ca’ della Nave”. Aim for the stars or just enjoy the day. It’s all about the fun, the laughs, and maybe a little competition.

About Golf Club “Ca’ della Nave

Hey, so let me tell you about Golf Club Ca’ della Nave: This place is just about 20 kilometers from the stunning Venetian Lagoon (yep, that’s a World Heritage site). Whether you’re hitting up Venice before or after, any golf enthusiast worth their salt needs to swing by Golf Club Ca’ della Nave in Martellago. It’s this incredible spot dreamed up by Arnold Palmer, right around an uber-fancy 16th-century villa called Villa Grimani Morosini.

Arnold Palmer, the golf legend himself, whipped up this course in the mid-80s and it kinda feels like he sprinkled a bit of Venice magic over it. Think artificial lakes and sneaky water hazards on a whopping 12 out of 18 championship holes. And yup, the shorter 9-hole game doesn’t get off easier!

The real kicker? Hole 2. It’s a par 4 stretching 1,213 feet (370 meters), with a scenic lake cuddling up to the right side of the fairway. Oh, and there’s a welcoming committee of two bunkers ready to meet your first shot, plus another guarding the green. And don’t get me started on Hole 14 – it’s a show-off par 14,035 feet (4, 278 meters), sitting pretty on an island in the middle of a lake. You even get to play explorer crossing a little bridge to chase after your ball.

The Nitty-Gritty:
– Course: 18 holes, Par 72, 11,043 feet = 6366 meters
– Architect: The one and only Arnold Palmer
– Layout: It’s all flat but with these cool artificial hills and wavy fairways that’ll keep you guessing.
– Special Sauce: It’s got that American flair all over. The game stays fun with cleverly placed water hazards and fake slopes that’ll test your skills.

From the Pro:
Arnold Palmer left his mark here with a course full of water, strategic bunkers, especially around those bends, and greens that are big and inviting. Hole 2 gives you a taste of what’s to come – a beast of a hole with water hugging the right side and a green that’s not easy to cozy up to, thanks to a well-placed bunker. But even with water making 11 more appearances, don’t sweat it. The course is a blast and totally doable for anyone looking to have a good time.

Day 6: Lagoon Livin’ 🚤💨

Today’s chill level: cruising the Venetian Lagoon. We’re talking laid-back vibes, cool breezes, and maybe spotting some hidden spots. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and let’s go.

Day 7: Tee Time with a View 🏌️‍♀️🍷

Hitting up “La Montecchia” today, surrounded by those vineyard views. It’s not just a game; it’s an experience. Swing, sip, and soak it all in.

About Golf ClubLa Montecchia”

So, Montecchia Golf Club popped up in 1988 thanks to some go-getter entrepreneurs who were all in on creating a top-notch golf spot. They roped in Tom Macaulay, a British architect with some serious skills, to design a Championship Course that’s seen its fair share of action with the Challenge Tour and Alps Tour.

Over time, the place got some upgrades and tweaks to make it even cooler, plus nature’s been doing its thing by beefing up the old trees around the course. Recently, the folks running the show have been all about greening up the place, focusing on being kind to the environment and smart with resources, like water and power.

Now, the Club House is a whole vibe by itself. It used to be a tobacco drying spot but got a major facelift. It’s part of this grand estate that’s got a castle, a Renaissance villa, and a vineyard known for its top-tier wines. The clubhouse is this spacious, renovated beauty where everyone hangs out. Thanks to a new road, it’s super easy to get to from the city or the highway.

The ground floor is where the action is, with the clubhouse reception, offices, changing rooms, a bar & restaurant called “Montecchia Green”, and a pro shop. Upstairs, you’ve got “La Montecchia” restaurant and some meeting rooms that look like they jumped out of a history book, all thanks to some stellar restoration work. And let me tell you, the restaurant terrace has some killer views of the sun setting over the hills and mountains that you won’t want to miss.
