Day 1: CATANIA

🇮🇹 Welcome to Sicily! 🇮🇹

This tour STARTS and ENDS in Catania. You would fly in and out of the Catania CTA airport. We offer free airfare research to all of our clients.

Once you arrive in Catania, you’ll travel independently to your comfortable 4-star hotel, carefully selected for its convenient central location. After you check-in, you will have time to relax after traveling and perhaps enjoy a light snack and glass of wine while acquainting yourself with your surroundings and preparing for the adventures ahead.

On your first evening, you have a chance to explore town and enjoy dinner at your leisure. A free evening in Catania is the perfect chance to soak up the city’s energy. Enjoy the buzz of the city streets or stop to browse in the local shops. After dinner, settle in and get a restful night’s sleep.

And don’t forget… while touring, you’ll wake up every morning to enjoy a lovely buffet breakfast served at your hotel! It’s the perfect way to start each day of adventure.

Day 2: CATANIA – LIPARI

Good morning! Good morning! Our adventures begin after you’ve been served a lovely buffet breakfast at your hotel.

Today we will travel from Catania to Milazzo, a coastal town on Sicily’s northeastern tip known as the gateway to the stunning Aeolian Islands. At the Port of Milazzo, you’ll board a hydrofoil to the largest of the Aeolian archipelago, the island of Lipari.

Upon arrival, you’ll have time to explore and enjoy lunch on your own, followed by a taxi tour of Lipari in the afternoon – castles, cathedrals and coastal scenery – oh my! In the evening, you’ll have free time for dinner on your own, perhaps at a seaside café in the historic old town, before overnight at your carefully selected and comfortable 4-star hotel.

Day 3: LIPARI - PANAREA - STROMBOLI - LIPARI

Ease yourself into your day with a delightful buffet breakfast at your hotel, followed by the morning at your disposal to explore Lipari’s charm. You are free to enjoy a relaxing lunch on your own, sampling the local specialties and savoring the incredible views of the harbor.

After lunch, we will depart by boat from Lipari to your first stop, Panarea. Explore the laid back village, natural beauty and the white Aeolian-style houses. Our journey then continues to Stromboli, with its black-sand beaches and glow of its active volcano. From the boat, it may be even possible to even witness an eruption!

The day concludes with a return to Lipari, where you can enjoy a lovely dinner at your leisure followed by a restful overnight stay, enveloping you in the serene ambiance and Sicilian magic.

Day 4: LIPARI - SALINA - LINGUA - LIPARI

Good morning! Your day starts with a generous buffet breakfast before boarding a boat from Lipari to Salina, an island known for its timeless beauty and historic charm.

Your boat excursion continues with a scenic loop around the island, highlighted by a visit to Pollara Beach, the dramatic cove made famous by the film Il Postino.

After your swim, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch at your own pace. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and savor the local flavors!

In the afternoon, our adventure continues to Lingua, a tiny coastal village known for salt production. Lingua is a quiet break from the busier islands, offering rustic charm and seaside views.

In the afternoon we will return to Lipari for an overnight stay. With the evening free, you can wander through town, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, or browse the shops before settling in for the night.

Day 5: LIPARI - VULCANO - LIPARI

The day starts with a buffet breakfast at your hotel before setting out for more adventure and exploration.

Today we’ll take a boat tour around the island of Vulcano. We’ll stroll through the small town and you’ll have free time to relax on the black sand beach. Whether you choose to swim, stroll, or simply enjoy the view of the crater in the distance, Vulcano offers a perfect mix of peace and adventure.

We will return to Lipari in the afternoon where you can recharge and before exploring town at your leisure. Lipari is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the local cuisine at your own pace.

Your day wraps up with an overnight stay at your comfortable Lipari hotel, where you can reflect on your day of sightseeing and your volcanic island experience.

Day 6: LIPARI - TAORMINA - CATANIA

Begin your morning with a delicious buffet breakfast before boarding a hydrofoil for a scenic transfer to Milazzo. From Milazzo, we will continue on to Taormina, the “Pearl of the Ionian Sea”, and one of Sicily’s most iconic destinations.

You’ll have free time upon arrival to explore at your own pace. Among your choices are a stroll along Corso Umberto, perhaps take in the unforgettable views of Mount Etna and the sea, or visit the ancient Greek Theatre.

Taormina is also a fantastic place to enjoy lunch on your own, with plenty of cafés and restaurants showcasing Sicily’s rich culinary flavors.

Later in the afternoon, the journey continues to Catania. Upon arrival, check into your hotel comfortable and centrally-located 4-star hotel and take some time to relax before venturing out.

Catania’s historic center is known for its grand baroque architecture, lively markets, and energetic streets, offers the perfect backdrop for an evening stroll. Enjoy dinner on your own at one of the city’s many restaurants or cafes. Your final day ends with a peaceful overnight stay in Catania.

Day 7: CATANIA - Conclusion of the Tour

This morning you will enjoy a final buffet breakfast before departing to the Catania airport.
