This tour starts in Palermo and ends in Catania. While airfare is not included, we offer a research and booking service for our clients. Please inquire when booking. 🛫

Palermo is a city where history, culture, and cuisine come together, offering an authentic glimpse into the island’s diverse heritage. We are excited to begin our tour in the soul of Sicily. Located along the island’s northern coast, Palermo has a lively culinary scene as well as seaside views and an historic past. Once you visit, it will surely not be your last time!

Your journey begins with an independent arrival at your comfortable and centrally located 4-star hotel. To add an optional private airport transfer, please inquire when booking.

After you check-in, you will have time to relax after traveling and perhaps enjoy a light snack and glass of wine while settling in and preparing for the adventures ahead.

On your first evening, you have a chance to explore town and enjoy dinner at your leisure. A free evening in Palermo is the perfect chance to soak up the city’s energy. Enjoy the buzz of the city streets or stop to browse in the local shops. After dinner, settle in and get a restful night’s sleep.

And don’t forget… while touring, you’ll wake up every morning to enjoy a lovely buffet breakfast served at your hotel! It’s the perfect way to start each day of adventure.

2nd ay (Wednesday): PALERMO - MONREALE

Buon giorno! Our day begins after you’ve enjoyed a wonderful buffet breakfast served at your resort.

You’ll then have the morning free to explore and enjoy lunch at your leisure in town. Whether you’re craving street food or a relaxed sit-down meal, you will find plenty of options to enjoy. After lunch, we are off to the panoramic hillside town of Monreale.

In Monreale, we’ll visit one of most stunning Cathedrals in the world, with its Moorish architecture, housing mosaics representing a complete cycle of the Old and New Testaments in Arab-Norman style. It is breathtaking!

We’ll then return to Palermo, where we’ll stay the night. Settle in and enjoy free time for shopping and dinner on your own, then get a restful night’s sleep for more adventure tomorrow!

3rd Day (Thursday): PALERMO - CEFALU - MESSINA - TAORMINA

Start your day with coffee and a delicious buffet breakfast, the perfect way to fuel up before our adventures.

Lace up your shoes for a guided walking tour of Palermo, the capital of Sicily. Our tour begins along the Corso Vittorio Emanuele to reach “I Quattro Canti di Citta”, Piazza Pretoria and Piazza Bellini. We will visit the famous Cathedral, then finally arrive in one of the most famous and historical markets.

From there, we’ll continue to Cefalù, a former fishing village and now a charming coastal town. Enjoy a relaxed walking tour to the city center, where you can wander the charming streets before reaching the Arab-Norman Cathedral and the medieval washhouse built into the rock.

In Cefalù, you’ll have free time to explore, shop and enjoy a leisurely lunch on your own. You may want to visit the beach or take a seaside stroll. Cefalù is the perfect mix of history, culture and relaxation!

In the afternoon, we’ll pass through the scenic town of Messina (don’t miss the photo opportunities of the Strait of Messina!) before arriving in our final destination for the day, Taormina.

Here, you’ll check-in to your comfortable and centrally-located 4-star hotel and unwind for the evening. Whether you choose to explore the city on your own or simply relax, the night is yours to enjoy with free time for dinner.

4th Day (Friday): TAORMINA - MOUNT ETNA - TAORMINA

Good morning! Today’s adventures begin after you’ve been served a lovely buffet breakfast at your hotel.

Our excursion today takes us on a drive to Mount Etna, where your guided tour includes exploring the highest active volcano in Europe! We will ascend to 1800 meters to the Sylvester Craters and enjoy the spectacular scenery over the Ionian Sea. On the way back, we will stop at a local winery on the eastern slopes to visit a cellar, where will will taste different local wines accompanied by light snacks.

In the afternoon, we’ll head back to Taormina, “The Pearl of the Ionian Sea”, where you’ll enjoy leisure time for shopping or strolling and time on your own. Taormina is endlessly fascinating with breathtaking views of Mount Etna, the ancient Greek theater, charming streets and timeless elegance. Dinner is at your leisure before returning to your hotel for the evening.

5th Day (Saturday): TAORMINA - MILAZZO - LIPARI

Good morning! Good morning! Our adventures begin after you’ve been served a lovely buffet breakfast at your hotel.

Today we will travel to Milazzo, a coastal town on Sicily’s northeastern tip known as the gateway to the Aeolian Islands. At the Port of Milazzo, you’ll board a hydrofoil to the largest of the Aeolian archipelago, the island of Lipari.

Upon arrival on Lipari, you’ll have time to explore and enjoy lunch on your own, followed by a taxi tour of Lipari in the afternoon. In the evening you’ll have free time for dinner on your own, perhaps at a seaside café, in the historic old town before overnight at your carefully selected and comfortable 4-star hotel.

6th Day (Sunday): LIPARI - PANAREA - STROMBOLI - LIPARI

Ease yourself into your day with a delightful buffet breakfast at your hotel, followed by the morning at your disposal to explore Lipari’s charm. You are free to enjoy a relaxing lunch on your own, sampling the local specialties and savoring the incredible views of the harbor.

After lunch, we will depart by boat from Lipari to your first stop, Panarea. Explore the laid back village, natural beauty and the white Aeolian-style houses. Our journey then continues to Stromboli, with its black-sand beaches and glow of its active volcano. From the boat, it may be even possible to even witness an eruption!

The day concludes with a return to Lipari, where you can enjoy a lovely dinner at your leisure followed by a restful overnight stay, enveloping you in the serene ambiance and Sicilian magic.

7th Day (Monday): LIPARI - SALINA - LIPARI

Good morning! Your day starts with a generous buffet breakfast before boarding a boat from Lipari to Salina, an island known for its timeless beauty and historic charm.

Your boat excursion continues with a scenic loop around the island, highlighted by a visit to Pollara Beach, the dramatic cove made famous by the film Il Postino.

After your swim, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch at your own pace. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and savor the local flavors!

In the afternoon, our adventure continues to Lingua, a tiny coastal village known for salt production. Lingua is a quiet break from the busier islands, offering rustic charm and seaside views.

In the afternoon we will return to Lipari for an overnight stay. With the evening free, you can wander through town, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, or browse the shops before settling in for the night.

8th Day (Tuesday): LIPARI - CATANIA

Your morning begins with a satisfying buffet breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, you will transfer to the port of Lipari for the final leg of your Sicilian adventure, traveling by hydrofoil to Milazzo and onward to Catania.

Once in Catania, check into your centrally located 4-star hotel and take a moment to settle in. This lively city at the foot of Mount Etna offers a blend of history, culture, and vibrant local life, making it a wonderful base for the finale of your tour.

Enjoy a leisurely afternoon of lunch on your own and exploring Catania at your own pace. Wander through its historic center, where you’ll find striking baroque squares like Piazza Duomo, the lively A Pescheria fish market, and landmarks such as:

– Transfers In/Out: Arrival and departure transfers are not included. You’ll need to arrange your own transportation to the starting point of the tour and from the concluding point back to your next destination or home. Optional transfers are available, just ask when booking.

– Entrance Tickets: Admission fees to various sites and museums visited during the tour are not covered. These will need to be paid separately as you visit each site.

– City Tax: This local tax is not included in the tour package and must be paid directly at each hotel. The city tax varies by location and hotel category. Average is 2-5 euro per day per person.
