This Tour hits the “Big 3” Rome, Florence and Tuscany. But then we head to The Cinque Terre Coast in the Liguria region of Italy and comprises five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This 7-day tour will give you a rich, cultural experience in each of the following destinations: Rome, Florence, Tuscany, and Cinque Terre. Together, with your tour guide and a small circle of fellow travelers, you will discover all the treasures Italy has to offer! We suggest using our private transfer service, in which a driver will take you and your luggage straight to your hotel from the airport. Once you have checked into your 4-star hotel, settle in and savor your first night in the Eternal City. Today, your guide will meet you in the lobby before your journey to the heart of Rome. You will begin your walk to the city’s architectural miracle of the city: the Piazza Navona, occupied with stunning masterpieces. Then, venture to the Spanish Steps, which is distinguished by its unique design of vistas, straight flights, and terraces; followed by the Pantheon, the Baroque quarter and Trevi Fountain, one of the oldest water sources in the Eternal City.
After your tour, there will be free time to relax and have lunch. Afterward, you will have a transfer to the Vatican for a guided tour, a treasure trove of prominent artworks.
Optional: Tonight, have a true Roman dinner experience! Meet your tour guide for a relaxing walk through ancient Rome. End the tour at a restaurant. Overnight in Rome.
Wake up this morning to a lovely Italian breakfast. Then, your tour guide will meet you at your hotel for a picturesque drive to Florence via private coach. The drive is a wonderful opportunity to see the Tuscan countryside that is abundant with olives tree and ancient architecture. Your first stop is one of Italy’s greatest medieval cities, Siena, known for its beautiful Gothic buildings.
Once you arrive, a “farmer lunch” (“Original Tuscan Food”) and wine tasting with cheese will your first taste of Siena. After lunch, there will be free time to explore Tuscany’s most fascinating town. We will then continue to Florence in the late afternoon. Before we arrive, there is one final sojourn in Chianti for a lovely wine tasting. Upon arrival in Florence, you will have the evening to roam the Renaissance city and have dinner on your own.
Today is a free day to continue exploring Florence independently. Tours to Pisa, Assisi, among many others, are options that are available to you and offer multiple ways to see the city’s highlights. Your agent will offer suggestions and your travel kit will provide tips on main attractions as well.
Continue your journey through Florence enjoying the most scenic part of the city: the fresh market of San Lorenzo, is an authentic Italian food experience, with fresh produce daily arriving from the Tuscan countryside. It is an excellent opportunity to savor many selections of cheese, vegetables, and bread. Afterward, you will enjoy a full lunch.
Your guide will then meet you in the hotel to tour the heart of Florence. Famed artists, architects and writers such as Michelangelo and Botticelli, had a great influence on the city that still remains today. You will visit the Piazza della Signoria (a political cornerstone of the city since the 14th century), Palazzo Vecchio (from outside), Ponte Vecchio, the Dome with Giotto’s bell tower (from outside). Finally, visit the Accademia and admire Michelangelo’s masterwork: the statue of David.
Optional: A Tuscan dinner followed by a walk while the sun sets. This time of day is absolutely stunning and offers a great opportunity to take beautiful photos.

Today is your first day of your private post-tour to Cinqueterre
Once you have breakfast, meet your driver-guide at your hotel and for your next adventure to Cinqueterre. When you arrive, begin your journey of the local villages by boat. Cinqueterre is a district comprised of five picturesque towns, where small houses are adorned by lush nature that is dazzling for its visitors. These villages include Manarola, Riomaggiore, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso al Mare.
The residents of Cinque Terre enjoy its pristine waters and natural atmosphere, where untamed nature is intermingled with thriving vineyards, olive groves, and citrus orchards, creating a unique experience for those visiting. At the end of your tour, you will move on to Genoa where you will have one overnight stay.
This is the only goodbye for now! Today is your final day of services, but we hope to see you again. You may book the airport or railway station transfer, or choose a different route home. As a reminder, we also provide France and Greece as options for travel, which are excellent extension destinations that take place before or follow this tour. This tour ends in Cinque Terre.
