You will start your journey in the Eternal City. After Rome, you, your guide, and fellow travelers will travel to the Amalfi Coast and Apulia. We recommend that you book our private airport transfer (not included in the package), in which a private driver will meet you at the airport and take you straight to your hotel in comfort. Once you are checked into your 4-star accommodations, take in the Roman atmosphere and enjoy your first night in the city!
Tonight, meet your tour guide at the hotel for a walk to a nearby restaurant. You will enjoy a lovely welcome dinner and orientation that will describe the details of your itinerary. Overnight in Venice.
Your morning begins with a walking tour of classical Rome. Your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby to begin your journey to the hub of the city, where you’ll see culturally and historically rich landmarks including the Pantheon; the Spanish Steps, one of the longest and widest staircases in all of €pe; the Baroque quarter; and the Piazza Navona, famous for its fountains, architecture, and the history behind it. Afterward, enjoy free time for lunch, which is followed by a private transfer to the Vatican where you will have a guided tour.
This evening, you will continue through the ancient streets of the city with your guide and behold Roman nightlife and afterward have an authentic local cuisine. Once you’ve finished dinner, your tour guide will accompany you back to your hotel. Overnight in Rome.

Pompeii is known for its excavated ruins that embody historical significance. You will stop here en route to late morning by private coach. Pompeii was known for its ideal climate and scenery, serving as a getaway for Roman elites. Now, it is famous for the civic buildings that remain there today after hundreds of years. Among these include the House of Mysteries, home to historical murals; the Surgeon’s House; the House of Faun and the Chaste Lovers, where you will find celebrated artworks.
When in Pompeii, you will indeed notice the graffiti-covered walls of most buildings throughout the city. These are a testimony to the public reaction to historical political elections. Your tour is followed by a light lunch and wine tasting, which will be on the Vesuvio Volcano. Here, you will enjoy a stunning view of the entire Gulf of Naples with Capri, Ischia, and small villages on the coastline.
Sorrento Coast and overnight in Sorrento
You will have a full day tour of Amalfi & Ravello including a Lemon tour, in which you will collect lemons and make fresh lemonade “Amalfi style”. Today is a truly special experience as you will get a beautiful view of Ravello and Amalfi, and become familiar with the cuisine and wine in the local area. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about the history of Amalfi, the Maritime Republics, as well as visit an excellent “limoneto”, a cliff adorned with thriving lemon trees.
After Amalfi, you will travel to Ravello, where artists, writers, and musicians, such as Richard Wagner, flocked to and composed famous works. Ravello is also famous for its age-old villas dating back centuries.

Begin your 3 nights private post-tour to Apulia
At the start of your day, meet your driver-guide for your transfer to Bari and an en route stop in Matera, where you will have a guided visit. Depending on where you are, there is a beautiful viewpoint that overlooks Matera’s sassi, which is a powerful imagery that transports one to the Holy Land in 100 BC. Once remarkable and grand, the ‘Città Sotterranea’, sits on the Gravina ravine and its impressive scenery has often been employed for biblical scenes in films and TV. Overnight in Bari area
You’ll soon be seeing the defining white-washed conical-roofed houses, (“trulli”) of Alberobello on your journey today. You will have an en route stop there on your way to Lecce via private transfer. Another characteristic of Alberobello is the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today is a continuation of touring the area. You will have a half day guided visit of Lecce, also known as “the Florence of the South”. The city is known for its grand baroque architecture, which is apparent among the impressive palaces and many churches lining the streets inside the city’s three ancient gates: Porta Rudiae, Porta San Biagio, and Porta Napoli.

Alas, it is your final day in Italy and we are sorry to see you go! You may either take a railway station or airport transfer for departure, or you make take an alternative route home.
