This Tour hits focuses on the center of Italy with a start in Rome, then on to Florence, Tuscany then we head to Cinque Terre; the 5 fishing villages in the Liguria region of Italy. The area comprises five villages: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This 7-day tour will give you a rich, cultural experience in each of the following destinations: Rome, Florence, Tuscany, and Cinque Terre. Together, with your tour guide and a small circle of fellow travelers, you will discover all the treasures Italy has to offer! We suggest using the optional private transfer service, in which a driver will take you and your luggage straight to your hotel from the airport. Once you have checked into your 4-star hotel, settle in and savor your first night in the Eternal City. This evening you will meet your tour guide at the bar of the hotel and then walk to the restaurant and enjoy a welcome dinner and orientation outlining what’s in store. Overnight in Rome
Welcome to Italy!
Today, your guide will meet you in the lobby before your journey by private mini van to the Vatican. You will enjoy skip the line entrance tickets to see some of the Vatican Museums most treasured items and visit its amazing spaces such as the Raphael Rooms and the Sistine Chapel. You will visit St. Peters Basilica to see Michelangelo’s Pieta and the grave of Pope John Paul II. After the tour you will be taken back to your hotel so you can rest and then in the afternoon your guide will take you to the heart of Rome for a lovely walk. You will begin your walk to the city’s architectural miracle of the city: the Piazza Navona, occupied with stunning masterpieces. Then, venture to the Spanish Steps, which is distinguished by its unique design of vistas, straight flights, and terraces; followed by the Pantheon, the Baroque quarter and Trevi Fountain, one of the oldest water sources in the Eternal City.
After your tour you are free for the rest of the evening, you can go back to the hotel or find your own spot for a lovely dinner. Overnight in Rome.

Wake up this morning to a lovely Italian breakfast. Then, your tour guide will meet you at your hotel for a picturesque drive to Florence via private coach. The drive is a wonderful opportunity to see the Tuscan countryside that is abundant with olives tree and ancient architecture. Your first stop is one of Italy’s greatest medieval cities, Siena, known for its beautiful Gothic buildings.
Once you arrive, a “farmer lunch” (“Original Tuscan Food”) and wine with cheese will be your first taste of Siena. After lunch, there will be free time to explore Tuscany’s most fascinating town. We will then continue to Florence in the late afternoon. Upon arrival in Florence, you will have the evening to roam the Renaissance city and have dinner on your own.
Your guide will meet you in the hotel to tour the heart of Florence. Famed artists, architects and writers such as Michelangelo and Botticelli, had a great influence on the city that still remains today. You will visit the Piazza della Signoria (a political cornerstone of the city since the 14th century), Palazzo Vecchio (from outside), Ponte Vecchio, the Dome with Giotto’s bell tower (from outside). Finally, visit the Accademia and admire Michelangelo’s masterwork: the statue of David.
Today you are off to Cinque Terre
Once you have breakfast, meet your driver-guide at your hotel and for your next adventure to Cinque Terre. When you arrive, begin your journey of the local villages by boat. Cinque Terre is a district comprised of five picturesque towns, where small houses are adorned by lush nature that is dazzling for its visitors. These villages include Manarola, Riomaggiore, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso al Mare.
The highlight of the day you will enjoy lunch overlooking the pristine waters and natural atmosphere, where untamed nature is intermingled with thriving vineyards, olive groves, and citrus orchards, creating a unique experience for those visiting. At the end of your tour, you will go back to Florence where you are free for the rest of the evening.
The morning is yours to relax in Florence. Yesterday was a long day to Cinque Terre so now you can take the morning to just sleep in and enjoy. In the afternoon your guide will take you to the wine region of Chianti to a lovely villa overlooking the Tuscan countryside. You will enjoy a wine tasting and tour of the on site winery. Later you will experience an amazing dinner featuring 4 different wines, delicious local dishes. Return to Florence in the late evening.
This is the only goodbye for now! Today is your final day of services, but we hope to see you again. You may book the airport or railway station transfer, or choose a different route home. As a reminder, we also provide France and Greece as options for travel, which are excellent extension destinations that take place before or follow this tour. This tour ends in Cinque Terre.
