Note: This tour starts on a Saturday in Catania, Sicily and ends on a Saturday in Taormina, Sicily. We recommend the Catania Airport (CTA) for arrival and departure.

Once you land in Catania, you’ll head to your hotel to kick back and relax after the trip. Take a breather and get settled in. Book our optional private airport transfer for the easiest way to the hotel.

Later, we’ll all meet up for a laid-back welcome dinner at the hotel. 🍕 It’s the perfect chance to get to know everyone, chat about the tour we’ve got planned, and just be together. Here’s to starting an amazing adventure with some good food and even better company! 🥂

Day 2: Sunday - Syracuse Sojourn 🚌🏛️

After breakfast, we’re off to Syracuse for an awesome day trip! 🚌 First up, we’ll explore the Neapolis Archaeological Park—you’ll get to see the ancient Greek theatre and Roman amphitheater.

Then, we’ll wander through Ortigia, the old town of Syracuse. We’ll stroll around, visit the stunning Cathedral, and check out some other incredible spots. Later, we’ll head back to Catania, and the evening is all yours to grab dinner on your own and explore. 🍽️

Day 3: Monday - Catania’s Fishy Business & Ragusa Rendezvous 🐠🧀

🐟 Morning: Check Out Catania’s Fish Market 🐟

Start your day with a laid-back walk through Catania’s famous fish market, “A Piscaria.” 🐠 It’s the perfect spot to soak up the local flavor and see the city in action.

After the market, we’ll depart to Ragusa, well known for its cheese production, where we’ll enjoy a light lunch. 🧀 Then, we’ll spend the afternoon exploring Ragusa and the historical centre of Ibla by “Baroque Train” 🚃 and admire stunning baroque palaces and churches. To wrap things up, free time to enjoy and relax, followed by dinner in the hotel. 🍽️

Day 4: From Agrigento to Marsala - A Day of History and Wine 🍷

🚐 Off to Agrigento 🚐

Following a buffet breakfast, we’re kicking off the day with a drive to Agrigento to explore the stunning Valley of the Temples – a UNESCO World Heritage site packed with history and seriously breath-taking ruins. 🏛️

For lunch, you’re free to grab a bite wherever you like. After that, we’ll proceed to Marsala on the western coast and get settled in at a relaxing wine resort. 🍷 After that, we’ll arrive at our hotel for the evening. At the end of the tour we’ll enjoy a wine tasting and a light dinner at sunset. 🌅 Cheers to a great night! 🥂

Day 5: Salt Route, Erice, and Monreale - Cultural Immersion 🧂

We’re starting the day with a scenic drive to Erice along the “Salt Route”, where you’ll pass by salt pans and old-school windmills—perfect for a few photos. 📸

In Erice, stroll through the medieval streets and don’t miss out on tasting some amazing local pastries. 🥐 Later, we’ll have a lite lunch, then depart to Monreale’s and explore the stunning Cathedral—it’s definitely a sight to see. 🏛️ We’ll then proceed to Palermo, where we’ll stay the night. Enjoy free time for shopping and dinner and get ready for more adventure tomorrow!

Day 6: Palermo, Cefalù, Messina and Taormina - Discovering Coastal Gems 🌊

🌅 Morning in Palermo, then Cefalù, Messina and Taormina! 🌅

We’re starting the day with a breakfast walking tour of Palermo, stopping at the famous Cathedral. After that, we’ll head over to Cefalù for a relaxed walking tour, where you can wander the charming streets, shop and check out the Cathedral. You’ll have free time to explore and enjoy lunch on your own.

In the afternoon, we’ll head via Messina to Taormina, where you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace and enjoy dinner of your choosing. 🍽️ A great mix of exploring and unwinding!

Day 7: Mount Etna & Taormina - Natural Wonders and Relaxation 🌋

🌋 Morning at Mount Etna 🌋

After a buffet breakfast, we’re starting the day with a trip to Mount Etna—you’ll get to explore the highest active volcano in Europe with a guided tour, and then we’ll stop by a local winery for some wine tasting and light snacks. 🍷

In the afternoon, we’ll head back to Taormina, where you’ll enjoy leisure time for shopping or strolling and time to do your thing—whether that’s shopping, exploring, or checking out the Greek-Roman Theatre. 🎭 Dinner is totally up to you—pick a spot that looks good and enjoy! 🍽️

Day 8: Departure from Taormina - Farewell Sicily 🛫
